What it does

The Rx Price calculator is designed for prescription pricing.

It calculates prescription pricing using factors including:

The app's calculation logic supports calculating pack prices before and after VAT, markup, and per-item pricing.

How to use

1. Select Rx Price.

2. Enter the medication Cost Price.

3. Enter the Markup %, if calculating the price from cost.

4. Enter the Pack Size.

5. Enter the applicable VAT %.

6. Enter the Dispensing Fee, if applicable.

7. Review the calculated prescription price.

8. Review the calculated price per item.

9. Verify the result against your pharmacy/business pricing rules.

Alternative calculation

If a pack price is already known, the calculator can use that price to determine the corresponding pre-VAT value and implied markup.
